In my eyes, creating a unique event is pure magic. Working in this industry brings incredible challenges and wedding creators overcome all their fears when it comes to making things happen. This industry is centered on love and basically on serving couples to create timeless memories.

Experience is everything when it comes to planning a wedding and it really resonates when we try to align expectations and real planning stuff. I think that´s just the beginning of the love industry puzzle. I don´t believe in secret formulas for planning a wedding but I have to admit that natural talent is not enough, there is much more to put on the table. There are crucial skills that make you excel and fulfill real expectations.  

One thing I always recommend and try to focus on is not losing the sight of the big picture. Always make your marriage a priority and trust the process with all the ups and downs it involves. Keep perspective and remember what the most important part of the process is. Surround yourself with the people you lean on and I can assure we can work together in bringing your vision to life.

There are top skills that make the journey a great experience such as: communication, emotional intelligence, creativity and crisis management.  If I have to be brutally honest, I think being a great leader is a must and it´s what really makes everything fall into place. You have to wear many hats, deal with pressure and learn to stay calm most of the time. Something that I´ve learnt is being a good listener and learning to delegate, it´s not wise to try to control everything. It´s much better to choose the right people and give the responsibility to show what they can do for you and the event itself. It´s not magic, it´s common sense. These experiences definitely build your fortitude and deep understanding of this profession. The learning path is never ending and what drives us is not just passion but all the dedication we have in our lives.

I have a never stop learning mindset and it has helped me to challenge myself and give the best of me all the time even in the toughest moments. My love for this industry is my fuel to be my best self. Wedding professionals have to be constantly learning, updating and evolving.
