Destination Fairytale Wedding
Sep 21, 2023MARIA & THOMAS, married on September 03, 2022, in Ecuador at, Hacienda Manteles, with breathtaking views of Tungurahua Volcano in the of the Andes.
With the couple's ideas of how they want their fairytale wedding, and with more than 15 years of expertise in the tourism and events area, we gained invaluable knowledge and experience about customer service and how important it’s to have everything meticulously planned.
Their fairytale wedding dream was very easy to put together, as we work with all wedding suppliers. Even though there were changes at the last minute, we provided stress-free and everything went accordingly.
Let me share with you how was it:
Around mid-day, at a magical Hacienda, a horse starts walking and approaches a tunnel that was created 100 years ago, which divides the area of the ceremony and the house rooms area, where the bride spent the night. After a 3-hour journey between Quito and the Hacienda, the night before the bride enjoyed the jacuzzi and a relaxing massage in goat's milk.
The Hacienda that hosts us in this wedding is from the colonial era and was the house of the cloistered nuns, nowadays it is a hostel and We can feel every detail of history in its architecture and details in gold leaf from the Quito school, carved in workshops of the Creoles in the Viceroyalty of Quito. The area of the ceremony is full of trees, shrubs, and flower gardens, a very large area which is why the decoration chosen was all wild nature with tree trunks. When leaving the tunnel, the bride raises her head and can see in the distance the white cone of Cotopaxi and her future husband on his horse arriving at the altar.
As the bride's horse walks down the aisle, the groom steps down with magically selected music. The pastor welcomes all attendees, while in the background we have a beautiful tree of more than 300 years.
In the Mormon tradition, the marriage rite is performed in their temple, for this reason, this rite is symbolic and the ceremony is carried out in an informal way and the father of the bride is the one who officiates the ceremony.
The arrangements of the table settings were made from trunks fallen from the sector and cut with the Axe, Randa, linen, and small fragments of eucalyptus were the decorative objects of our perfectly placed imperial tables. The sweets table filled with chocolate truffles, mini tarts, red berries, and ivy was decorated with old objects from the hacienda, wrought iron, and stamped wood.
Dinner was a fusion of local traditions and haute cuisine details. The chef and his team put their hearts into this beautiful event that filled all the rooms to accommodate each of our guests.
